Shopping and videoblogging and... oh yes, modeling some great fashion here in Dubai!

Photos I snapped years ago with one of those throw-away cameras, Jenny must have been about ten or eleven. Believe it or not, I was wearing a Lacoste dress, too!
Happy with the way I caught the Canal du Midi atmosphere. The cafĂ© was a converted lock-keeper’s house and we had the place almost completely to ourselves that afternoon. It was a very, very pleasant afternoon, I recall. Roo was not with us, of course.
I’m not a superstitious person and I don’t read horoscopes. But I did find some interesting remarks about how the lunar eclipse affects people…“Difficulties will be spawned from a combination of stubborn pride and lack of loyalty. Emotional demands can be surprisingly unrealistic and flattery or emotional display is likely to cause upsets. Issues will come to a head at the Solar Eclipse on the 19th, just before the Equinox. The resolution is to trust the process of life and realize that you will be taken care of.
People can have a hard time separating their egos from their emotions, failing to recognize that something (or someone) they want may simply represent ego involvement, instead of emotional commitment. What we are called upon (or driven) to do may often interfere with what gives us emotional satisfaction, or we chase after our desires, while we waste or fail to develop our talents and skills.
A tug-of-war exists between desires and emotional needs and practical ambitions.”
That last bit rings true somehow!
